Astrology, money and the discipline of timing

The reason astrology keeps showing up in business folklore is not prediction — it is cadence. A chart gives you a repeatable calendar for when to push, when to build quietly, and when to hold.

Jupiter: the expansion year

Jupiter spends roughly a year in each sign. When it moves through the part of your chart that governs work, income or visibility, opportunities arrive faster than usual — and so does overcommitment. Expansion years reward raising, hiring and launching; they punish sloppy terms.

Saturn: the compounding years

Saturn is slow, unglamorous and the reason anything lasts. Saturn transits tighten a part of your life until only the durable survives. The Saturn return around ages 29 and 58 is the classic career reset — most people describe it afterwards as the period that made them serious.

Mercury retrograde, used properly

Roughly three times a year Mercury appears to move backwards. The useful reading is not "avoid everything" — it is that revision beats initiation. Renegotiate, re-audit, fix the contract, revisit the customer who went quiet. Save the announcement for after.

New Moons and Full Moons as a working rhythm

  • New Moon — start, pitch, open the round, plant the intention
  • First quarter — push through the first real resistance
  • Full Moon — results land, decisions become visible, ship or reveal
  • Waning phase — cut, close, collect, tidy the books

Where your own chart changes the advice

Generic transit calendars apply to everyone; your chart decides which of them actually bite. A Jupiter year in your money house is a different instruction than the same transit landing in your home house. That is the whole point of running the forecast against your birth details rather than your Sun sign alone.

A caveat worth keeping

Nothing here is financial advice, and no chart removes risk. Treat the calendar as a discipline for deciding — a way to stop making irreversible calls on a bad week.
